Correct Operating Room Deficiencies – Salisbury, NC VAMC

MSK is pleased to accept another contract at the W. G. (Bill) Hefner VA Medical Center in Salisbury, North Carolina. This project will renovate 15,000 square feet to primarily correct deficiencies related directly to the insufficient size of the VAMC operating rooms, number, and the configuration of those operating room suites. In addition, MSK will improve the storage spaces for supplies, equipment, and staff. The project will create new operating rooms in separate locations immediately adjacent to and above to the VA’s Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and current Operating Rooms. Upon project completion the VAMC will boast new and enlarged multipurpose (hybrid) operating rooms, a redesigned nurse’s station, and increased energy efficiency.
